Getting Started

What is AVADAO?

AVADAO is a Meme DAO built on the Avalanche blockchain. It combines a community token ($AVA), Web3 gaming, and on-chain identity into one ecosystem.

You don't need to understand blockchain to enjoy AVADAO games — you just need a wallet to sign in. Think of it like "Sign in with Google" but for Web3.

Game Portal

The Avadao Game Portal is the hub for all AVADAO games. Once you connect your wallet, the portal:

  • Creates your player profile automatically
  • Lets you set a custom display name for leaderboards
  • Launches games in a secure frame with a verified session
  • Syncs your scores and saves to the cloud
Games open directly on avadao.xyz — your wallet session is passed securely to the game automatically. You never need to reconnect inside the game.

Get a Wallet

A crypto wallet is your identity on Web3. It's a browser extension (or mobile app) that holds your keys and lets you sign into dApps like the Avadao Portal.

Signing in does not cost anything. Connecting your wallet and signing the login message is free — no gas fees, no transactions, no money involved.

Which wallet should I use?

We recommend Core Wallet for the best Avalanche experience, but MetaMask and Rabby work perfectly too. All three are free.

Install a wallet — pick one from the options below and install it as a browser extension.

Create a new wallet — the extension will guide you. Write down your seed phrase and keep it safe offline. Never share it with anyone.

Go to the portal — click avadao.xyz/portal, hit Connect Wallet, and sign the message that appears in your wallet.

Core is the official wallet built by Ava Labs — the team behind Avalanche. It's designed specifically for the Avalanche ecosystem and has the best native support for AVAX tokens, Avalanche subnets, and NFTs.

MM MetaMask

MetaMask is the most widely used Web3 wallet with over 30 million users. It works with virtually every dApp and blockchain. If you already have MetaMask, it works perfectly with the Avadao Portal.

MetaMask defaults to Ethereum. To use it with Avalanche, you need to add the Avalanche C-Chain network — or use it as-is since the portal only needs a wallet signature, not a specific network.

Portal

Connect & Sign In

Signing in uses SIWE (Sign In With Ethereum) — the Web3 standard for wallet-based login, the same technology used by OpenSea, Uniswap, and thousands of other dApps.

Click Connect Wallet on the portal page.

Your wallet opens and asks you to sign a message containing only your address, a nonce, and the domain avadao.xyz.

Click Sign. Your player profile is created automatically.

Optionally set a username in the profile panel — this name appears on leaderboards.
Signing a message does not approve transactions, send tokens, or give the portal access to your funds. It only proves you own the wallet.

Player Profile

Your profile is automatically created on first sign-in, tied to your wallet address.

  • Wallet address — your unique identifier, shown as 0x1234...abcd until you set a username.
  • Username — optional display name on leaderboards (3–24 chars).
  • Session token — issued each time you open a game, valid 4 hours.

Username

Set your username in the Your Profile panel. Rules: 3–24 characters, letters/numbers/underscore only, must be unique. Can be changed anytime.

Without a username, your wallet address (0x1234...abcd) appears on leaderboards.

Cloud Saves

Games that support cloud saves sync your progress automatically. Your save follows your wallet — switch devices, clear cache, it's always there. Saves are versioned so accidental overwrites are recoverable.

Leaderboards

Scores are stored in a PostgreSQL database — server-authoritative, not in your browser. Only your personal best is kept. Rankings are calculated in real time. Browser console manipulation doesn't work — scores are verified server-side.

FAQ

Is it free to play?

Yes — all games are currently free. You only need a wallet to sign in. No tokens, no gas fees, no payment required.

Is signing safe? Will I lose funds?

Completely safe. A sign is not a transaction — no tokens move. The message contains only your address, a random nonce, and the domain avadao.xyz. Nonces are single-use and expire after 5 minutes.

Never share your seed phrase. The Avadao Portal will never ask for it. If anything does, it's a scam.

Which blockchain does AVADAO use?

AVADAO is built on the Avalanche C-Chain — fast, low-cost, EVM-compatible. For portal sign-in, any EVM wallet works regardless of which network it's set to.

What data does AVADAO store?

Wallet address, username (if set), game saves, leaderboard scores, and anonymous game events for analytics. No email, no passwords, no IP addresses.

I lost my progress / score is gone

Progress is tied to your wallet address. Make sure you're signed in with the same wallet you used before. If you switched wallets and want to merge data, reach out on Telegram.

Does the portal work on mobile?

The portal UI is mobile-responsive. For wallet sign-in on mobile, use the built-in browser inside Core Wallet or MetaMask mobile apps and navigate to avadao.xyz/portal from there.
